Mission Statement 

     The Luther Area Public Library recognizes the role of being the information resource center of the community and that these resources encompass a broad range of materials including: print, non-print, and electronic media. Therefore, it is our mission to respond to and develop an understanding of the needs of the people we serve by providing these materials and to preserve the necessary collections and services to meet future opportunities for development.  As a District Library, we service the areas of Dover, Eden, Elk, Ellsworth, Newkirk, Peacock and Sauble Townships and the Village of Luther.
